Born in June, 1962, Dey is a Commerce graduate from the Calcutta University, India and an MBA, DBA from Trinity College & University, a highly reputed old European university and also PG diplomas from UK. Dey is possessing 30 years of senior level global multi-industry experience in 17 countries across 3 continents.

Dey has been associated with international advertising agencies, IT consulting firm, global auto majors, world’s top music software firm, white goods, leading media houses, etc. and headed brands like Toyota, Lexus, Nissan, Ford, Mazda,
Isuzu, Buick, Volvo, Sony, Sony Music, etc. as a highly successful top level marketing and profit center head in some of the world’s most competitive and demanding markets.

After his return to India in 2003, Dey has shifted from the Industry to a full-time academic career. However, Dey is highly involved in active corporate consulting, corporate training, e-commerce and open source initiatives.
