You just want to give up everything and submerge in the melodious envelop that they create.
It is with such an excited hesitancy that we write about the world-famous bansuri player Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia. He carried his passion with incomparable zeal and brought rich laurels to his art, his country, his dedication–rates as one of the finest exponent of Indian classical music, he brought the believed-to-be-a-folk-instrument into the hardcore premises of classical music and displayed unimaginable mastery.
Like an entrepreneur, he created his own niche; made the world believe that his art is worth appreciating; and created a legendary inheritance for younger generations to vie for. Without any musical background of his family, he rose beyond the boundaries of limitations. He experimented, he innovated, yet he delivered the most complex classical presentations with flute.
Respected by peers and disciples, maestros and the audience, Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia still believes himself to be a disciple.
